The wines of the Denomination
of Bullas Origin
The Bullas Designation of Origin It covers the municipalities of Bullas, Mula, Ricote, Cehegín and Pliego, the Upper Districts of Lorca, Caravaca, Moratalla and Calasparra.
The land It is of rugged typography with altitude between 600 and 900 m.
The soils on which vine cultivation is developed are very different in depth and texture.
The temperatures that are recorded in the area are suitable for the development of the vegetative and productive cycle of the vine, especially the
Monastrell, which is the majority variety with more than 85% of the surface area. The wines of the DO Bullas have some different nuances due to
the height and thermal difference of its vineyards, in addition to its
rainfall conditions.
They are high-quality wines that convey their origin through their aromas and flavors.
